Tickets & Photo ID

  • Is there an age restriction?

    Only those 18 years or older may enter (minors under 18 cannot enter even with guardian accompaniment). ID check will be conducted at entry. Please bring one of the following government-issued photo IDs:

    • - My Number Card (notification card not accepted)
    • - Driver's License
    • - Passport
    • - Residence Card
    • - Welfare Handbook
    • - Photo ID Resident Registry Card
    • - Photo ID Disability Certificate
    • - Health Insurance Card with Photo
    • - International Driver's License
    • - Driving History Certificate
    • * Please refrain from inquiring about IDs other than those listed above. You cannot enter without proper ID. No ticket refunds will be given.
  • Can those under 18 enter with a guardian?

    Those under 18 cannot enter even with guardian accompaniment. No cancellations or refunds will be given for purchased tickets.

  • What about wristbands?

    All tickets will be exchanged for wristbands upon entry. Wristbands cannot be reissued. If damaged or lost, you cannot enter, so please wear it until the festival ends.

  • What if I lost my ID or it's expired?

    Only valid government-issued photo IDs listed above are accepted. You cannot enter without proper ID.

  • Is an international driver's license accepted as ID?

    Yes, international driver's licenses are accepted.

  • I can't register as a member. What should I do?

    Please contact us through the GMO SONIC inquiry form.

  • I live overseas and don't have a Japanese phone number. What should I do?

    There's a ticket sales page for overseas residents. Please purchase from the TICKET section on the English version of the official site or from the overseas residents ticket page.

Cancellations & Changes

  • An artist I wanted to see cancelled. Can I get a refund?

    As this is a festival, performers may change. No refunds for performer changes or cancellations.

  • I can't attend anymore. Can I sell my ticket?

    Ticket transfer/resale is prohibited. Entry is not guaranteed for tickets purchased through unofficial channels such as Viagogo, Ticket Distribution Center, StubHub, or Ticket Jam. If unauthorized entry is discovered, immediate removal, police notification, and damage claims will follow.

  • Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

    No refunds except for event postponement or cancellation. Travel and accommodation expenses (including cancellation fees) due to event cancellation or postponement will not be compensated.

Entry & Areas

  • Can PLATINUM STANDING ticket holders enter the GA area?

    Yes, it's possible.

  • Can friends who bought tickets separately watch together?

    There's no assigned seating, so you can watch together.

  • Will the timetable be announced in advance? What time does it end?

    The timetable will be posted on the official website, SNS, and inside the venue. End time will be announced with the timetable.

  • Can wheelchair users enter?

    Wheelchair entry is possible. Those wishing to use the handicapped area should apply to Creative Man Production Co., Ltd. in advance after purchasing tickets. Some areas (arena, etc.) may not have this facility. Companions also need one ticket per person.

  • Can pregnant women enter?

    A first aid room will be available. If feeling unwell, please contact nearby staff. For your safety, please consult with family and your doctor before attending.

  • Can I leave and re-enter?

    To help you enjoy GMO SONIC more comfortably, re-entry is now permitted.
    You must be wearing your wristband to re-enter.
    Please note that re-entry will not be allowed if your wristband is lost or not worn.

About the Venue

  • Are there multiple stages?

    There will be one stage.

  • What items are prohibited?

    The following items are prohibited:

    • - Video cameras, professional photography equipment, telephoto lenses, recording devices, action cameras
    • - Coolers, chairs, mats, bottles/cans
    • - Fireworks and other explosives, dangerous items
    • - Animals (except service dogs)
    • - Selfie sticks, glow sticks, flags with sticks, sign boards that obstruct rear visibility
    • - Items prohibited by law will be reported to police immediately upon discovery
    • - Items deemed dangerous by staff are also prohibited
  • Can I eat and drink inside the venue?

    Please consume food and beverages at your seat. Eating or drinking while walking is prohibited.

  • Can I distribute posters or flyers?

    Distributing or posting posters and flyers in the vicinity or inside the venue is strictly prohibited.

  • Is there a cloakroom?

    Coin lockers or cloakroom (paid) may be available inside or around the venue. Keep valuables on your person or manage them carefully.

  • Is there parking at the venue?

    Limited public parking is available around the venue. Please use public transportation. Drunk driving is strictly prohibited. Drop-offs by car are prohibited. Roads around the venue are no-parking/no-stopping zones.

  • Can I smoke inside the venue?

    Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas.

  • Can I record or photograph the performance?

    Photography for personal use with smartphones or compact digital cameras is allowed. Photography, recording, or streaming of performing artists is strictly prohibited.

  • Can I save spots?

    Saving spots by leaving belongings is prohibited. Abandoned items will be removed immediately.

  • Can I bring pets?

    Animals (except service dogs) are not allowed.

Prohibited Activities

  • What activities are prohibited?
    • - Waiting outside venue, entrance waiting (including overnight), sitting on surrounding roads
    • - Entry by members/associates of organized crime groups or other anti-social organizations, intoxicated persons, or those unsuitable for the festival
    • - Moshing, diving, circle pits, and other activities disturbing other customers
    • - Throwing plastic bottles onto the stage
    • - Damaging plants, lawns, or natural environment around the venue
    • - Overnight waiting or camping around the venue
    • - Illegal parking or activities disturbing local residents
  • What should I do if I see prohibited activities?

    Please notify nearby staff. Sexual harassment is a criminal offense and will be reported to police immediately. Failure to follow staff instructions or disturbing behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.

Environmental Considerations

  • What should I do with trash?

    Please separate trash and dispose in bins or take it home. Don't leave trash around the venue or in public places.

  • What should I be aware of for environmental protection?

    Do not damage natural plants around the venue. Do not camp around the venue.

Other

  • When do merchandise sales start?

    Currently being arranged. Will be announced on the official website and SNS once decided.

  • What if I feel sick inside the venue?

    A first aid room will be available. If feeling unwell or injured, please contact nearby staff. This is a long festival. Please ensure proper hydration and rest to prevent heatstroke and dehydration.

  • Can you deliver presents to artists?

    We cannot accept them. There will be no present box.

  • What about baggage management?

    Manage your belongings at your own responsibility. Organizers, venue, and artists bear no responsibility for theft, loss, accidents, or injuries.

  • What about entry/exit restrictions?

    Entry/exit restrictions may be implemented without notice in each area.

  • What happens if I violate the rules?

    Failure to comply with these rules will result in wristband collection and removal (no refund, same-day tickets cannot be purchased).

  • Can the important notices change?

    Important notices may change without prior notice. Please check the important notices on the official website before attending.

GMO SONIC 2026 Cautions

【Guideline Abolishment】

  • Regarding the abolishment of "COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines for Music Concerts"
  • For GMO SONIC 2026, following the announcement by the All Japan Concert & Live Entertainment Promoters Conference (ACPC) on April 27, 2023, the government's "Basic Policy for COVID-19 Countermeasures" will be abolished on May 8, 2023, and the guidelines will be abolished on the same date.
  • Thereafter, infection prevention measures will be implemented at the individual discretion of customers and event staff based on their health conditions and living environment.
  • For details, please refer to "Regarding the Abolishment of COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines for Music Concerts" (April 27, 2023).

【Tickets】

  • A first aid room will be available inside the venue. If feeling unwell or injured, please contact nearby staff without hesitation.
  • This is a long festival. Please ensure proper hydration and rest to prevent heatstroke and dehydration.

  • Age verification is required to purchase alcoholic beverages. Before making a purchase, please present a valid ID and receive a wristband. The wristband issuance counter is located next to the Official Bar in Hall 6.
    *We cannot sell alcohol to customers who are not wearing a wristband (i.e., those who have not completed age verification).
